When our BID opened its doors in 2009, we decided to call ourselves the Hudson Square Connection because we are all about making physical, social and economic connections that give rise to a neighborhood where the spirit of innovation can flourish – inside the buildings, and out in the community. We are proud to have been a part of the transformation of Manhattan’s former Printing District into a thriving creative hub.The area we manage is generally bounded by West Houston Street on the north, Canal Street on the south, 6th Avenue on the east, and Greenwich Street on the West. The shaded gray in the map on the left are the buildings in the Hudson Square Connection’s district.

So much great progress being made by the Hudson Square BID. Love the new trees and their design, and we can’t wait for the new park that is scheduled to break ground fall of 2016 to be completed by 2018! So exciting!” – Green Below 14
